Rev. Fr. Dr. Thou Ngaoni is the Vice President of the Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS), Imphal and serves as the Chancellor and Judicial Vicar of the Archdiocese of Imphal. A distinguished canon lawyer, academic, researcher, and author, he has made significant contributions to Canon Law, particularly in the areas of personal laws, family law, and institutional legal frameworks in India. Through his scholarly publications and active involvement with the Canon Law Society of India, he has contributed significantly to legal and canonical scholarship. He also provides strategic leadership to DSSS Imphal while overseeing legal, administrative, and judicial responsibilities within the archdiocese.
