Rev. Fr. Dr. Soni Thomas serves as the Director and Secretary of the Governing Body of the Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS), Imphal. He holds M.A., B.Ed., M.Th., Ph.D., and a Diploma in Psychology and Counselling, reflecting his strong academic background and expertise in leadership, education, and human development. He also serves as the Director of the Manipur Catholic Women Organization (MCWO), supporting women's leadership and community development initiatives across Manipur. Through his visionary leadership, he promotes sustainable development, social justice, humanitarian action, capacity building, and the empowerment of marginalized communities, while strengthening institutional effectiveness and fostering inclusive, resilient, and self-reliant communities.
