Most Rev. Dr. Linus Neli, JCD is the President of the Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS), Imphal and the Archbishop of Imphal. A distinguished canon lawyer, educator, author, and social development leader, he has over four decades of experience in leadership, administration, education, and community development. Holding a Doctorate in Canon Law, a Master's Degree in Human Rights, and a Diploma in Jurisprudence, he has served in several key leadership positions, including Chancellor, Judicial Vicar, Vicar General, National Director of Caritas India, and Rector of Oriens Theological College. Appointed as the third Archbishop of Imphal in 2023, he provides strategic leadership to the Archdiocese and DSSS, advancing sustainable development, peace, social justice, and the empowerment of vulnerable communities. Guided by his episcopal motto, Ipsum Audite ("Listen to Him"), he continues to promote compassionate leadership, ethical governance, and inclusive community development.
